Product Overview
MTI’s Pass Box Systems are an essential component of any cleanroom facility. They allow for the transfer of materials into the clean environment without personnel movement, thereby reducing man-material traffic and contamination risks. We offer both Static (for non-sensitive transfer) and Dynamic (with airflow) models.
Types of Pass Boxes
Static Pass Box
Used for transferring materials between two cleanrooms of the same cleanliness class. It relies on physical barrier protection and UV sterilization. It does not have an internal air supply system.
- Best for non-critical transfer.
- Low power consumption (only UV).
- Simple, maintenance-free design.
Dynamic Pass Box
Fitted with a HEPA filter and Blower motor. Used to transfer materials from an uncontrolled area to a controlled area (e.g., Corridor to Cleanroom). It acts like an air lock, cleaning the material before entry.
- Active contaminant removal.
- Class 100 Air cleanliness inside.
- Includes Differential Pressure Gauge.
Standard Features
Interlocking
Only one door can open at a time, preventing cross-contamination.
UV Sterilization
Automatic UV light activation when doors are closed to kill germs.
Door Alarm
Buzzer alerts if a door is kept open for too long.
Double Walled
Flush interior surfaces for easy cleaning and durability.
